Cynthia Bringle has been a studio potter for 50 years. She received her BFA from the Memphis College of Art and her MFA from Alfred University. She is the recipient of many awards, including the North Carolina Award for Fine Art, North Carolina Living Treasure,  and an honorary doctorate from Memphis College of Art. She is also a lifetime member of SHHG.

Cynthia started as a painter and that has a lot to do with her approach to clay. Her work is found in many museums and collections - but mostly in kitchen cabinets and bathrooms (sinks).
