Jeff makes utilitarian stoneware with shino glazes and unique metallic surfaces

Jeff Dean graduated with a BFA in Ceramics from Eastern Carolina University. His philosophy as a craftsman and maker is rooted in strong form and titilating surface patterns - ranging from colorful to metallic and earthy. Dean shares a studio/gallery with Stephanie Martin in the beautiful countryside community of potters in Seagrove, NC.
